September 21th  2020(two thousand and Twenty) // 2 single out and 2 single in waiting list

OUT : Everybody Loves an Outlaw – I See Red

Let’s find out what the song means, at the beginning the sentence the woman feels very angry and vengeful for being lied to and cheated on. In the chorus, she says

“I see red, red, oh red

A gun to your head, head, to your head

Now all I see is red, red, red”

In here, she kills him because the word ‘red’ in lyric is blood after holding a gun to the man’s head

OUT: Imagine Dragon – Believer

Overall, “Believer” is about someone who finds meaning in the pain in his life. We don’t know for sure that this is autobiographical to anyone in the band, but there’s such emotion in the vocalization that it’s hard to not believe that this song has deep personal meaning. The song is the declaration of a person who has experienced great pain in his life but who has learned important things about himself through those experiences.

Waiting List 1: I Prevail ft. Delaney Jane – Every Time You Leave

Rock powerhouse I PREVAIL has shared the impactful and topical video for its new single “Every Time You Leave”, which is currently ascending the rock radio charts.

“Every Time You Leave” is I PREVAIL unlike you’ve ever heard them. The track demonstrates the band’s songwriting prowess and shows a more contemplative side of their musical style. The video takes a close, hard and unsettling look at the difficulties and traumas faced by the people and the families who are on the frontlines of both sides of war.

Waiting List 2:  Nothing But Thieves – Unperson

Past cover stars of ours, Nothing But Thieves, dropped their third incredible single today titled “Unperson” from the album “Moral Panic”.

The track is a bit different from the other recent singles the band has put out but still a note on the state of the times we are in. It is a nod to George Orwell‘s dystopian novel “1984” to which an Unperson is describes a person whose entire existence has essentially been eradicated of any and all evidence, executed by the totalitarian state.

9. Bring Me The Horizon – Parasite Eve

In these lyrics, Bring Me the Horizon, emphasizes on how most authoritative bodies, predominantly the governments around the world, failed to take proper actions to prevent the COVID-19 pandemic. “Washing your hands very frequently” was one of the simplest COVID-19 prevention tips issued by health authorities. But the only hand washing the government did was leave the people undirected and unmonitored. Closing down of air and land borders, closing down of public places such as schools were not prioritized by some governments, which most definitely aided in this pandemic becoming a global threat.
